Seed Basics for Beginners
This overview of seed basics will help you navigate these early days of the planting season. Even with the weather as chilly as it has been, there are some seeds you can plant outside now and others you can start indoors. Otherwise you should wait until we pass the "Frost-Free Date" around May 10th. We carry a wide variety of heirloom and organic seeds from Seed Savers Exchange.

Square Foot Gardening and Local Plant Starts
This weekend we are turning attention to gardens, and we bet you are too! A Saturday class on Square Foot Gardening methods teaches how raised beds, good dirt, and a little planning lead to less weeds and a lot of food. Stick around to learn why locally-nurtured plant starts that are ready to grow right here in Ohio are better than the starts sold at big box stores.
