How did The Going Green Store get started? When the founder, Melanie, started to look around her home, at her family and pets, she decided she wanted more: more safety and more for the environment from all the products in her home. This inspiration led Melanie to start discussing what “Going Green” in daily life meant to her and others. A group of caring consumers was established; all of us focusing on one question, “How can we make being good to our families, ourselves and the environment, easy, affordable and within reach of everyone from anywhere?” And so, in early 2007, The Going Green Store was born. The Going Green Store is a growing living company and community that looks to continually expand and evolve our product offerings to make sure we all feel better everyday about what we are doing for our loved ones and the world around us. What if there is something I want that The Going Green Store doesn’t carry? The Going Green Store is always looking for customer recommendations and open to requests. Right now, product reviews come from the community of homemakers, pet owners, parents and others who helped to inspire the establishment of The Going Green Store.
